Ms. Smith is recognized for outstanding service in the establishment and operation of multiple administrative organizations supporting NIST in Boulder, the most recent being the Communications Technology Laboratory and the Boulder Laboratories Office. For over 20 years, she has served as the founding administrative staff of multiple NIST Boulder organizations at the division, laboratory, and site level. She has consistently gone above and beyond the expectations of her position to ensure the delivery of exceptional administrative support services on the Boulder campus, including hosting congressional delegations, coordinating interagency activities with tenant organizations, as well as organizing Boulder campus events.
