Ms. Generoso-Nguyen and Mr. Lawson are being recognized for taking the initiative to design, coordinate, market and implement an all-encompassing agency-wide education program on diversity, civility, risk management, and organizational health that tangibly supports NIST community members, as well as the agency’s mission and core values. Their new training program broadly services NIST, significantly reduces agency risk exposure, invests in employees and increases opportunities for the use of conflict management, while supporting the development of participants’ interpersonal and professional skills.
