Bachinski
AWARD CITATION
Ms. Bachinski is recognized for her outstanding and sustained leadership, service and innovation in leading administrative services since 2003 for JILA, NIST's world-leading research, innovation and training partnership with the University of Colorado (CU). Bachinski is the administrative officer of PML's Quantum Physics Division, and her responsibilities extend to all of JILA, a 250-person, $25 million organization dedicated to transformative measurement-science research and training the next generation of innovators and metrologists. To ensure JILA's success, she masterfully leads two separate administrative systems and teams – from NIST and CU – constantly innovating administrative approaches as requirements and opportunities evolve.
