AWARD CITATION
Dr. Hammouda is recognized for his extensive outreach efforts to educate many hundreds of NCNR facility users who make use of the small-angle neutron scattering (SANS) measurement technique, which is widely used by academic and industrial research communities. The centerpiece of his work is his SANS Toolbox, a 720-page tutorial covering fundamental and advanced SANS topics. His online course, which he based on his SANS Toolbox, has been taken by over 100 students at 30 US universities.
