IT Audit Manager
I actively build networking awareness through training, mentoring, and teaching. As part of my role as an IT Audit Manager, I conduct team retreats where I design and deliver interactive training sessions to strengthen audit skills, collaboration, and productivity. Beyond my team, I lead student workshops, holding presentations on subjects like the NICE Framework, where I translate complex cybersecurity workforce concepts into practical guidance for career seekers. I also mentor graduate business students, providing individualized support to help them prepare for professional roles, connect with resources, and develop confidence in applying their knowledge to real-world challenges.
In addition, I am passionate about teaching students and early career professionals about IT audit. I provide informal learning on risk, controls, and audit practices, helping them see how technology, compliance, and business objectives intersect. This approach ensures learners not only understand concepts but can also apply them effectively. I strive to combine technical expertise with a focus on people development, creating opportunities for others to grow in their careers in an attempt to strengthen the cyber security workforce.
