Additional Information

With a background in cybersecurity, cyber-physical systems, electrical engineering, and computer engineering, I am passionate about collaborating with others to design more secure systems. In my joint appointment with Idaho National Laboratory, I contribute to the Cyber-Informed Engineering (CIE) initiative. My team is actively working to improve security for rural communities.
I understand the transfer pathways from community colleges to universities and the skills needed to build the IT and cybersecurity workforce. I founded the Cyber Operations and Resilience (CORe) program at Boise State University, an asynchronous online cybersecurity degree program that offers a Master of Science, a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Bachelor of Science. Willing to share my journey and help or mentor others learn about cybersecurity career opporunities and pathways.
