With a background in cybersecurity, cyber-physical systems, electrical engineering, and computer engineering, I am passionate about collaborating with others to design more secure systems. In my joint appointment with Idaho National Laboratory, I contribute to the Cyber-Informed Engineering (CIE) initiative. My team is actively working to improve security for rural communities.I understand the transfer pathways from community colleges to universities and the skills needed to build the IT and cybersecurity workforce. I founded the Cyber Operations and Resilience (CORe) program at Boise State University, an asynchronous online cybersecurity degree program that offers a Master of Science, a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Bachelor of Science. Willing to share my journey and help or mentor others learn about cybersecurity career opporunities and pathways.
