If you’re a coder with working knowledge of C++, Python and ROS, we have a prize challenge for you. It’s called the Agile Robotics for Industrial Automation Competition (ARIAC), hosted by the NIST.
The winnings:
Your goal: Develop software to manage different robots in a simulated environment that we’ve created at NIST, allowing the bots to work autonomously.
Along the way, the robots in this simulated factory floor space might run into a whole slew of challenges, from missing parts along the assembly line to visual blackouts and even antagonistic human co-workers. You won’t get that information in advance.
Get the full details and get your submission in by April 26.
