The National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) is pleased to partner with the US Cyber Games® program, led by Katzcy®, to host the US Cyber Team Draft Day event on October 17, 2022 from 3:30-7:30 p.m. ET at the U.S. Department of Commerce Headquarters (Herbert C. Hoover Building) in Washington, D.C. The event will also be live streamed.

In support of Cybersecurity Career Awareness Week (October 17-22, 2022), the Season II US Cyber Team Draft Day event will reveal the top cybersecurity athletes to represent the United States at a variety of global scrimmages and the International Cybersecurity Challenge (ICC) to be hosted by the U.S. in 2023. The Draft Day event is open to the community and will provide information about careers in cybersecurity and showcase cybersecurity games through onsite exhibits. A celebration reception will recognize members of the Season I US Cyber Team. Representatives from the cybersecurity community will also be on hand to describe the importance of skills development and the career opportunities available in both the government and private sector.
