Call for Speaker Proposals: 2022 NICE K12 Cybersecurity Education Conference

Share evidence of your effective practices and solutions at the 2022 NICE K12 Cybersecurity Education Conference 

The 2022 NICE K12 Cybersecurity Education Conference takes place on December 5-6, 2022 at the Marriott St. Louis Grand in St. Louis, Missouri, with pre-conference workshops on December 3-4. The 2022 NICE K12 Cybersecurity Education Conference CALL FOR PROPOSALS opens today, April 12, and lasts through June 24, 2022. The Conference Planning Committee is seeking timely and thought-provoking K12 cybersecurity education presentation topics that align with this year’s conference theme:

Expanding the Gateway to the Cybersecurity
Workforce of the Future

The Planning Committee encourages proposals from a diverse array of organizations and individuals with different perspectives, including K12 educators, school counselors, students, institutions of higher education faculty, employers and practitioners, non-profits organizations, curriculum providers, research centers, and training and certification providers. Topics should align with one of the five conference tracks:

  1. Increasing Cybersecurity Career Awareness
  2. Engaging Students Where Disciplines Converge
  3. Stimulating Innovative Cybersecurity Educational Approaches
  4. Designing Cybersecurity Academic and Career Pathways
  5. Promoting Cyber Awareness

This conference provides an array of in-person presentation formats including concurrent speaking and panel sessions, shorter "Ted-X style" talks, and pre-conference workshops. Virtual speaking opportunities include pre-recorded lectures and poster sessions.
