NIST Publishes Status Report on Round 1 of the NIST PQC Standardization Process

NIST publishes Internal Report (NISTIR) 8240, "Status Report on the First Round of the NIST Post-Quantum Cryptography Standardization Process"

On January 30, 2019, NIST announced the 26 candidate algorithms that are advancing to the second round of the NIST Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) standardization process. Today, NIST is publishing NIST Internal Report (NISTIR) 8240Status Report on the First Round of the NIST Post-Quantum Cryptography Standardization Process, which provides details about those candidate algorithms.
