Building Robust Cybersecurity Teams

Marian Merritt, the NICE Lead for Industry Engagement, recently spoke on a panel at the California Cyber Innovation Challenge, a regional Cyber Patriot championship, hosted at the California National Guard’s Camp SLO in San Luis Obispo, California. The panel, “Resources for Cyber Competitions,” was focused on the needs of high school teachers, mentors, coaches, and parents to develop cybersecurity programs in their communities. Representatives from state and federal government, education, and industry spoke about practical steps, available programs and partnerships, and other opportunities for building a robust cybersecurity team.
