OWM Info Hour - Manual Weight Entries

NIST Office of Weights and Measures will be conducting an informal discussion on Scales Code paragraphs S.1.12. Manual Weight Entries and UR.3.9. Use of Manual Weight Entries.  This discussion will encompass the following:

  • The history of these paragraphs
  • How to interpret and apply them including:
    • What must be printed on recorded representations;
    • When a manual weight can be entered; and
    • Conflict between the specification and the user requirement
  • Possible updates to these paragraphs.

This informational session will allow you to network with OWM staff and other people by sharing your experience, insight, and knowledge of systems that accept manual weight entries. This is also a great way to learn about manual weight entries.   If you are interested in attending, please be sure to mark your calendar and save the link to sign into the session.
