Synopsis:

The effort to close the cybersecurity hiring gap is sometimes hampered by a disconnect between position descriptions that poorly define job requirements and inflate preferred credentials (on the demand side) and the emergence of an increasingly knowledgeable and skilled workforce (on the supply side). Job seekers need to market themselves better by describing how hands-on learning contributed to their knowledge and skill development as validated by performance-based assessments. And employers need to use the NICE Cybersecurity Workforce Framework tasks and corresponding knowledge, skills, and abilities as the foundation for their position descriptions. This webinar will describe how human resources professionals and hiring managers can leverage the NICE Framework to develop more effective position descriptions and job announcements and in the process recruit and attract a more diverse workforce.
