Applicant's Conference for 2016-NIST-NSTIC-01 National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace State Pilots Cooperative Agreement Program

The NSTIC NPO has just announced a 2016 pilot program initiative with a special focus on digital services at the state and local government level. NIST is soliciting applications from eligible applicants—to include U.S. state, tribal, and local governments, institutions of higher education, and commercial entities working with those government entities—to pilot effective and efficient identity-proofing and authentication solutions for constituent-facing digital services. For this pilot, services that are currently online and enabled are welcome to apply—along with applications that are not currently enabled online. These solutions should advance the NSTIC vision and contribute to the maturity of the identity ecosystem the NSTIC envisions: promote secure and resilient, privacy-enhancing, interoperable, and user-friendly ways to give individuals and organizations convenience and accessibility in their online interactions.

The webinar will offer general guidance on preparing proposals, an overview of the funding opportunity, and a means to ask questions. Attendance at the webinar is not required to submit an application.
