The 17th International Conference on New Developments and Applications in Optical Radiometry (NEWRAD) will be hosted on the NIST campus in Gaithersburg, Maryland, September 10 to 13, 2029.
The conference will continue the NEWRAD tradition of outstanding presentations and lively discussions in an immersive workshop atmosphere. We anticipate exciting presentations about the most recent activities and advancements across the field – covering classical detector- and source-based radiometry, quantum optic technologies, terrestrial and space-based remote sensing applications, material properties and standards, and emerging applications.
Our conference program will encourage engaging discussions during sessions and breaks, providing excellent opportunities for informal networking and collaboration. Located just a 30-minute Metro ride from the heart of Washington, DC, the conference location offers easy access to the U.S. capital and its iconic landmarks and is conveniently accessible from three major area airports.
We are looking forward to hosting you at NEWRAD 2029!
