FISSEA events in 2027 will be focused around the annual theme "Behind the Human Firewall: Celebrating 40 Years of FISSEA Community and Collaboration”. This theme is intended to highlight how people across all parts of an organization can be active security assets, ensuring the human in the loop acts as an informed decision-maker rather than a point of vulnerability. Through four decades of shared knowledge, this theme reinforces that strengthening employee cybersecurity awareness and training programs remains a critical link in safeguarding organizational security.
