NIST OWM Info Hour: Legal Metrology Regulations/Requirements for Weighing and Measuring Products that are Marketed in the European Union (EU)
This Info Hour will provide a short introduction of EU regulations to US stakeholders with respect to legal metrology. Touching on subjects like CE marking, the legislative framework, the Measuring Instruments Directive, NAWI Directive, conformity assessment procedures, harmonized versus national regulations, and the role of the manufacturer. The main audience is US manufacturers but anybody who is interested in learning more about the EU approach of legal metrology, should attend.
