NIST OWM Info Hour: Legal Metrology Regulations/Requirements for Weighing and Measuring Instruments that are Marketed in the European Union (EU)
This Info Hour will provide a short introduction of EU regulations to US stakeholders with respect to legal metrology. Touching on subjects like CE marking, the legislative framework, the Measuring Instruments Directive, NAWI Directive, conformity assessment procedures, harmonized versus national regulations, and the role of the manufacturer.
