NCCoE Mobile Driver’s Licenses Project Update Webinar

Did you know that mobile driver's licenses (mDLs) could enhance the way financial institutions verify identities, offering improved security and streamlined processes?

Join the NIST National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence’s (NCCoE’s) mDL project team for an upcoming webinar highlighting our latest milestones in our effort to advance the security and privacy of mDLs. This session will provide an in-depth update on our recent outputs developed in collaboration with our partners:

  1. Wireframes: Visual representations of user journeys at the “NCCoE Bank,” demonstrating mDL applications in online banking, such as account opening and high-risk transaction verification.
  2. mDL Information Page: A potential list of questions that customers of a financial institution might have if our demonstration bank were a real bank accepting mDLs for its core banking services.
  3. Build Criteria: An overview of our functional and non-functional technical criteria that is open for feedback from our community.

This webinar is an excellent opportunity to engage with our project team and provide input on our work into the application of mDLs in the financial sector. We look forward to your participation and valuable feedback.
