Supporting The Standardization of Seaweed Measurements

Seaweed Identifier

In support of the NIST Dietary Supplement Laboratory Quality Assurance Program (DSQAP) Exercise 1 seaweed collaboration with World Wild Fund (WWF), we are hosting a workshop to discuss the QAP results, observations, and technical recommendations, as well as provide opportunities for discussions on improving measurement capabilities. There will be presentations from both NIST staff and external experts, and break-out rooms available for more in depth conversations. The goals are to connect and engage the commercial, research, and analytical laboratory communities to discuss the importance of robust and validated analytical methods, and determine future NIST roles in supporting seaweed measurement standardization
