75th Anniversary of Mathematics and Statistics at NIST

This year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the first mathematical and statistical organizations within the National Institute of Standards and Technology. To commemorate this, NIST has organized a three-day online symposium featuring historical reflections, assessments of the impact of NIST work, presentations of current work, and examples of areas of future growth.  The event should be of interest to NIST alumni and stakeholders, those interested in the history of science, and colleagues at other institutions engaged in research in applied mathematics and statistics.
