Synopsis:

Information Technology (IT) and Cybersecurity are similar but distinct career paths.  The National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) Workforce Framework for Cybersecurity (NICE Framework) includes IT work roles under the categories of “Operate and Maintain” as well as “Securely Provision”; however, IT employees often report up to a chief information officer, chief technology officer, or director of IT and their focus is on implementing technology securely to help organizations accomplish their mission.  As we celebrate National IT Professionals Day in September, this webinar will focus on the evolution, growth, and future outlook for IT occupations, jobs, work roles, and skills.
