The Federal government is constantly looking for creative ways to build and refresh talent as part of its cybersecurity workforce. American’s are drawn to work for the government because of its public service mission and other employment benefits. In a competitive job market, the federal government must also compete with the demand for cybersecurity workers with state government and the private and non-profit sectors. There are a variety of tools at the federal government’s disposal to help it attract the best possible talent – ranging from special hiring authorities for cybersecurity personnel to selective scholarship and leadership programs that create additional incentives. This webinar will help federal employers, job seekers, school counselors, parents, and academic personnel understand the different tools available to help the federal government develop a superior cybersecurity workforce.
