Developing Conformity Assessment Guidance: A NIST Workshop

On February 28, 2017, NIST is hosting a workshop in Gaithersburg, MD to engage the conformity assessment community in developing conformity assessment guidance.

NIST is updating its conformity assessment guidance to reflect growth and evolution in the conformity assessment community as well as reflect the guidance in the recently revised OMB Circular A119.

Attendees are expected to review the concept draft of the ABC’s of Conformity Assessment, Revised which will be released on February 14, 2017 and share their feedback in facilitated small group sessions.

Workshop participation is limited to two attendees per organization. To ensure successful facilitated outcomes, attendees are expected to be active participants or stakeholders in conformity assessment programs, or engaged in the conformity assessment activities.

This workshop does not offer introductory or tutorial information related to conformity assessment.
