CRC Handbook of Basic Tables for Chemical Analysis
The third edition of the CRC Handbook of Basic Tables for Chemical Analysis, co-authored by Thomas Bruno of The Thermophysical Properties Division, has been honored with a prestigious Choice Outstanding Academic Title Award from the American Library Association.
The monograph was published in 2011, and prepared with co author Paris D.N. Svoronos of City University of New York. This award is based on several criteria: excellence in presentation and scholarship, importance to the field, originality, and value to students. All new copies of the book will now carry a reproduction of the gold medal of the award. This book covers diverse areas of chemical analysis for fuels, drugs, and forensics/criminalistics.
In addition to this award, the American Chemical Society has rated this influential work as the fifth best-selling book in the field of analytical chemistry
