Having recently completed his tenure as a NIST National Research Council Postdoctoral Fellow, Ryan M. Evans is currently a mathematician in the Applied and Computational Mathematics Division of the Information Technology Laboratory at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. He earned a B.S. in mathematics from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania in 2010, an M.S. in mathematics from the University of Delaware in 2013, and a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Delaware in 2016. Ryan is a proud Pennsylvanian, avid distance runner, and a fan of the writings of C. S. Lewis.
