Carl Williams

Carl J. Williams is the deputy director of NIST's Physical Measurement Laboratory (PML). He is a fellow of the Joint Quantum Institute (JQI) and the Joint Center for Quantum Information in Computer Science (QuICS), both collaborations between NIST and the University of Maryland, and an adjunct professor of physics at the University of Maryland. He directs the Quantum Information Program and helps lead the National Strategic Computing Initiative at NIST.
