Alshae’ Logan-Jackson received her doctoral degree from Michigan State University. Shortly after her graduate studies, Alshae’ came to NIST for a postdoctoral fellowship to focus on understanding how pathogenic bacteria thrive in the plumbing systems of a net-zero-energy house on the NIST campus. Currently she is a microbiologist in NIST’s Materials and Measurement Laboratory (MML). There her research addresses measurement challenges in the wastewater surveillance workflow.
