Stephen Langelier is a rising STEM senior at North County High School, located in Glen Burnie, MD. He is in the Computer Science Pathway, for the STEM program, which has allowed him to take multiple computer science classes and learn more what he wants to pursue in the computer science field. As a career, Stephen wants to join into the active duty in the United States Military and serve his country. Whilst in the military, he hopes to be doing work in the field of computer science/cybersecurity. To help his goal in doing computer science/cybersecurity in the military, he plans on going to the United States Air Force Academy and majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Cybersecurity. In Stephen’s free time, he participates in a variety of sports such as soccer (12 Years), bowling (1 Year), and ultimate frisbee (<1 Year). Stephen is also heavily involved in his school’s music program as he plays violin for the Orchestra and oboe for the Band. Stephen also enjoys volunteering for the music program, as these events will benefit the program as it will generate fundraising money to get equipment that is needed for instruments. Stephen is very excited to be working as a NICE Intern and learn new things about cybersecurity and computer science.
