Ryan McKenna is a Ph.D. student at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where he works in the DREAM lab under the supervision of Gerome Miklau and Daniel Sheldon. He received his B.S. from the University of Delaware in mathematics and computer science. His primary research area is privacy-preserving data analytics. He is particularly interested in the practical side of differential privacy, and developing algorithms, tools, and systems to deploy in real-world settings where privacy is important.
