Obrzut Receives the 2016 International Electrotechnical Commission's (IEC) 1906 Award
The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) created the 1906 Award to commemorate the founding of the Commission and to honor those who have made an exceptional recent technical contribution to the development of a specific IEC work project. Dr. Jan Obrzut is recognized for the major input he made to furthering standardization and related activities in the field of electrotechnology.

Dr. Jan Obrzut is recognized for his essential contributions to support the development of graphene standardization in IEC/TC 113. As the project leader of IEC/TC 62607-6-4, he and his team developed the first Technical Specification on graphene in the 62607-6-x series which is going to be published in 2016.
