Nia Pollard Receives 2026 ACS Recognition of Excellence and Leadership in Science Outreach and Engagement Certificate
Nia Pollard was recognized for Excellence and Leadership in Science Outreach and Engagement by the 2026 ACS Graduate Student and Postdoctoral Scholars Recognition Program.
The ACS Graduate Student and Postdoctoral Scholars Recognition Program recognizes talented graduate students and postdoctoral scholars in the chemical sciences who demonstrate outstanding efforts and leadership in any of five award categories. The Recognition of Excellence and Leadership Certificate, in recognition of leadership in Science Outreach and Engagement, highlights exceptional leadership in promoting chemistry through outreach and public engagement.

Dr. Nia Pollard, a post-doctoral fellow in the NIST Material Measurement Laboratory Materials Science and Engineering Division, was recognized by the American Chemical Society (ACS) for Excellence and Leadership in Science Outreach and Engagement through the ACS Graduate Student and Postdoctoral Scholars Recognition Program. Recognition recipients will be celebrated at the 2026 ACS Fall Meeting in Chicago, IL.
