Optical Society of America (OSA) members who have served with distinction in the advancement of optics may be proposed for election to the class of OSA Fellow. This honor is reserved to no more than 10% of the total OSA membership.
Kartik Srinivasan of NIST’s Center for Nanoscale Science and Technology (CNST) was elected Fellow of the Optical Society (OSA).
Dr. Srinivasan received the honor for his outstanding contributions to nanophotonics and quantum optics, including cavity-QED, frequency conversion, and integrated optics including photonic crystals.
