Judith Mitrani-Reiser is appointed as Vice President of the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute
The Earthquake Engineering Research Institute is the leading non-profit membership organization that connects those dedicated to reducing earthquake risk since 1948. The objective of the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute is to reduce earthquake risk by (1) advancing the science and practice of earthquake engineering, (2) improving understanding of the impact of earthquakes on the physical, social, economic, political, and cultural environment, and (3) advocating comprehensive and realistic measures for reducing the harmful effects of earthquake.

Congratulations to Dr. Judy Mitrani-Reiser for her appointment as Vice President of the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute (EERI) for the upcoming year. Judy will perform this service in addition to her role on the Board of Directors of EERI.
