Congratulations to Jeff Voas, recipient of the 2025 IEEE Reliability Society Lifetime Achievement Award. Jeff was selected for his pioneering work in software reliability, fault injection, testability, and software certification that fundamentally changed how the IEEE community approaches the assessment of complex systems. Jeff also served three terms as President of the IEEE Reliability Society and contributed his leadership to the IEEE Board of Directors, and Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Computer.
