Adam Kaufman Named 2024 Experimental Physics Investigator
His team will explore new chamber designs, aided by cryogenics, to greatly enhance heating from contaminants, new optical lattice designs to mitigate additional heating sources, and new cooling methods to mitigate collisional heating.
The initiative provides flexible funding to pursue imaginative research ideas, allowing the investigators to explore new and uncharted areas and advance the scientific understanding of the natural world.
