2023 - American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors President’s Medallion Award---Ed Sisco

Sisco

Ed Sisco of the NIST Material Measurement Laboratory was presented with the President’s Medallion at the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors (ASCLD) Annual Symposium in Austin, Texas. This award is in honor of his distinguished service to the forensic research committee, facilitating over twenty lightning talks. The lightning talks are monthly virtual seminars that connect forensic practitioners to cutting-edge research across all forensic disciplines. Ed has been working closely with crime labs to introduce new measurement technologies that would speed analyses and reduce backlogs, especially those related to opioid detection.
