Paul Witherell Receives ASME 2016-2017 Early Career Leadership Intern Program to Serve Engineering

Accepted into the American Society of Mechanical Engineer’s (ASME) 2016-2017 Early Career Leadership Intern Program to Serve Engineering – ECLIPSE – program.  ECLIPSE is an exclusive professional development opportunity for early career members who have served three-to-ten years in the workforce (industry or academia).  ASME believes early career engineers can make significant contributions to the Society and is eager to encourage participation at all levels of leadership.  Dr. Witherell is among a select group of early career engineers chosen.  He is assigned to the Standards and Certification Sector, and will receive mentoring from a high-level ASME volunteer during the program’s year.  Witherell will be given the opportunity for placement in highly visible and productive roles within ASME and expected to make significant contributions to sectors/boards/committees while continuing leadership training and volunteer tracking.
