Abstract

This collection of papers relates to the evaluation of the Advanced Technology Program (ATP), the Nation's civilian technology program specifically charged with increasing the competitiveness of U.S. industry and improving the Nation's economy. The program accomplishes its mission by assisting industry to accelerate the development and commercialization of high-risk, enabling technologies that have the potential for generating broad-based benefits to the Nation.
