Raman Suppression in a Microstructure Fiber With Dual Laser Pumps

Published

Author(s)

Abstract

Coupling two frequency-conjugate laser pulses into an optical fiber, we observe at the middle frequency either enhanced photon generation via four-wave mixing or suppressed Raman emission depending on the phase difference between the two pumps.
