Abstract

This is a chapter of a proposed book. This chapter reviews the progress of flammability of new type of polymer nanocomposites based on nanosilica particles, polyhedral oligometric silsequixanes (POSS), graphite, and carbon nanotubes. Three different types of carbon nanotubes (SWNT, MWNT, and CNF) are included.
