Abstract
This is an invited brief memoir by the American Crystallographic Association (ACA) Newsletter Editor. In this memoir, a brief history of Winnie Wong-Ngs earlier childhood, her academic journey from Hong Kong to the US, her career developments after her PhD degree, including venture into Canada, back to the US, and finally working at NBS/NIST is summarized. This memoir also highlights her scientific work and her involvements with ACA, International Centre for Diffraction Data (ICDD) and a few other scientific organizations.
