Abstract
The Journal of Physical and Chemical Reference Data (JPCRD), a joint venture of the AmericanInstitute of Physics and the National Institute of Standards and Technology, was first published in 1972. The participation of these organizations is a recognition of the key role that the scientific community must play in its endeavor to provide high quality reference data.JPCRD is a bimonthly journal. The crucial requirements for publication are that articles assess the quality of the published information and contain full documentation as to the source of the original measurements and the criteria used for selection and evaluation of the data. A list of contents andabbreviated abstracts is provided.Monographs and Supplements to the Journal, which are articles too lengthy for a typical issue, arepublished separately. A listing of all monographs and supplements is also provided.
