Stefan Mitterhofer is part of the Infrastructure Materials Group at NIST since 2021, working on the project Measurement Science for Service Life Prediction of Polymeric Components used in Photovoltaic (PV) Systems. His research focuses on combining experiments and simulations for a better understanding of the degradation and failure mechanisms of polymers in PV.
