Raphael Barbau (Assoc)
Raphael Barbau is a computer scientist in the National Institute of Standards and Technology's Communications Technology Laboratory. Raphael has a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Burgundy (France), and he has been a NIST associate since 2008. His research interests include promoting model-based representations of product/system data, and leveraging these formal representations to perform automated verification and transformation. He built software solutions to automate the translation of product/system models into other product/system models and analysis models.

NIST Engineering Laboratory Distinguished Associate Award, for his contribution in the development of the OMG SysPhS standard (2018).
