Nicole Cooper (Fed)

Nicole S. Cooper is the secretary of the Wildland-Urban Interface Fire Group (WUIFG) and the National Fire Research Laboratory (NFRL) of the Fire Research Division (FRD) of the Engineering Laboratory (EL) at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Ms. Cooper began her career at NIST in February 2005 as a Mail Room Clerk. With her continued success and hard work, Ms. Cooper was promoted to join the Building Fire & Research Laboratory Division (BFRL) in January 2007. As the administrative office assistant for the Fire Measurements Group, Ms. Cooper provides administrative support to her group and the division.

Ms. Cooper is currently attending Montgomery College where she is taking training in the Information Technology field. She is working towards getting her certification in Information Technology; and, thereafter working towards getting her Associates Degree in Computer Networking.
