Max Carlson (Fed)

Max Carlson is a physicist in the NIST Radiation Physics division. His research focuses on the design of instruments and data acquisition methods for scientific measurements in challenging environments (such as vacuum, pressurized, cryogenic, high temperature, or radioactive). He is part of the True Becquerel IMS collaboration exploring high-resolution decay energy spectrometry combined with high-accuracy mass dispensing as a tool for primary standardization of radionuclide activity (the SI derived unit Bq).
