Mrs. Thompson began her career at NIST in June 1994, providing support to the Manufacturing Engineering Laboratory Headquarters Office. From 1997 to 2011, she provided web support and library administration services to the Systems Integration Division as a Technical Information Specialist. In January 2012, Mrs. Thompson joined the Engineering Laboratory's Communications Team, providing support for web design and maintenance, internal communication systems, and various internal and external publications.
