Jeffrey DiVietro (Fed)

Jeffrey DiVietro is the Deputy Director of the Technology Partnerships Office (TPO) at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). He oversees invention disclosures, licensing, the patenting process, and technology transfer agreements.

Before joining TPO, Dr. DiVietro was a Licensing Officer at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. He has worked in technology transfer offices at Georgetown University and at the National Cancer Institute, part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). 

Jeffrey holds a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering from the University of Virginia and a B.S. in chemical engineering from Bucknell University. He is also registered as a Patent Agent with the U.S. Patent and Trade Office (USPTO).  His post-doctoral work took place at NIH’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID).
