Brenda Lee Thomasson (Fed)
Administrative Officer
Brenda Lee Thomasson is the Administrative Officer in the Technology Partnerships Office (TPO) of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). She deals with budgets, contracts, grants, and other administrative matters for the Technology Partnerships Office and its staff. Before becoming an Administrative Officer, Brenda worked in TPO as a paralegal. She dealt extensively with licenses, trademarks, and with NIST’s Small Business Innovation Research program.
Ms. Thomasson has 32 years of experience as a NIST employee. She began as an entry-level secretary and later worked on the Electronics and Electrical Engineering Laboratory staff. Brenda also worked on matters relating to Institutional Review Boards at NIST.
Brenda holds an Associate of Science degree in paralegal studies from American Public University.
