Asia Robertson (Fed)
Asia Robertson is an Engineering Technician with the Neutron Physics Group in the Physical Measurement Laboratory (PML). He performs a wide variety of functions providing the group with technical support for neutron instruments and experiments. His activities include engineering design of beam lines and shielding , machining of instrument components, and welding.
Asia began his career as a welder at the age of 17 and later took on Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) design as well. Asia has 15 years of welding and mechanical fabrication background and 11 years of CAD design. Asia attended College of Southern MD (Laplata, MD), where he took Computer-Aided Drafting and Welding Technology courses, and Ashworth College (Norcross, GA) for Computer-Aided Drafting and Design.
